KATE ARDEN MCMULLEN (she/her) is the Managing Editor of Hub City Press, a nonprofit independent publisher of extraordinary writers from the American South. She is on the lookout for voice-driven literary works from the margins of Southern experience.
Kate received her MFA in fiction from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Her fiction has appeared in Paper Darts, Carve Magazine, The Boiler, Foglifter, The Pinch, Reckon Review, among other outlets. A Best of the Net and Pushcart nominee, she is the 2015 winner of the Colbert Chapbook Award. She lives in Spartanburg, SC with her partner and a pit bull named Holstein.
